J. L. Matthey Mission Statement It is our duty to provide every student the opportunity to excel, lead, and make positive decisions as young adults. will be presented on Thursday, May 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the Matthey cafeteria. Admission is free! Come and see a great musical performed by the Music and Theatre Arts Students.

Scholar Athletes for 2nd 6 Weeks
The J. L. Matthey Lady Cardinal Coaching Staff would like to congratulate 7th graders Amanda Esparza and Kristina Berlanga as well as 8th grader Norma-Gene Vega for receiving the distinction of being named Scholar Athletes for the 2nd 6 Weeks of the 2011-2012 school year. They were recognized for exceptional performance in the classroom as well as in Athletics. Great job ladies!
